Mrs. Mee wrote numerous crochet, knitting, & netting books from the 1840's to 1870, some of which she published jointly with Miss Mary Austin. I currently have four of Mrs. Mee's books: Crochet Explained & Illustrated (1845), Crochet Couvrettes and Collars (1847), Crochet Lace Edgings (1849), and A Manual of Knitting, Netting and Crochet (1846), all published by David Bogue of London.
