All these hooks swivel on pins, most of them folding-up to become more compact. Most of these hooks were designed to solve the problem of fine hooks snagging unintended items.
Some provide a selection of different sized hooks.

Wire handles with sheaths. Some of this type provide a selection of two crochet hooks and others provide a selection of three.
On the left: closed hook, in center: open hook, and on right: ready to crochet.
